Zootastic!

So a few Sundays ago we thought it would be a great idea to head to the Zoo after church. No one would be there cause it was a Sunday and all. It was a great plan! Well kind of, we forgot that it was memorial weekend, so needless to say, it was a bit crowded. :) but we still had a good time, it wasn't too hot or too cold. And with a general admission ticket, it got you in the gate, a ride on the carousal, and on the train! and we saw pretty much every bug and animal they had there.

we saw the baby elephant, Zuri and her mama, she was so cute she was playing in the mud puddle a few seconds earlier :)

the Rhino's were right there at the window eating. It was awesome!
I found this rare and endangered species , but every time I went to show Scott what I had found, this species was gone and nowhere to be seen. (ha ha ha)
Scott being loyal to his inner "team Jacob"
Me being true to my inner . . . . whatever that is?!? They didn't have vampires How messed up is that!!! j/k
ooooo Scary!
all in all we had a pretty fun day at the zoo. sorry the pictures are so small, we forgot our camera. so all the pictures are off my phone. Oh well it got the job done right?!

He's gonna do it.

Scott has had some real motivation lately to get into better shape. So I bought him some running shoes, shorts, and a tee shirt that all match. :) and with some help from one of our neighbors, Scott has signed himself up to run in a 5k run! (He tried to get me to sign up for it, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon. I'm just too out of shape and it's too close of a deadline, for me to even try.) So we will be celebrating the fourth of July here in Utah (not that, that is a bad thing) Scott will be running on Monday July 5th @ 7 am. there is more info on their website it's freedomfestival.org/run if you wanted to go check it out. I'm quite proud of him, for setting a goal and really working hard towards it. I wish you the best of luck, and I will be cheering you on the whole way honey! LOVE YA!
