Good Times

We heard that the weather was suppose to be awesome this weekend so Scott and I planned a BBQ with the neighbors! We had the Hackett's, Grant's, Shelley's, and Valdez's!

We all brought a little something to eat and something to share. I think it turned out pretty good. I definitely don't think anyone went hungry. We even had leftovers.
after, we let the real fun begin! We went out back to the Hackett's, and broke in their new tramp. the kids loved that Scott was bouncing 'em!
And Scott handed out motorcycle rides to the neighbor kids that were old enough, and it was OK with their parents. Yep you guessed it, there was a line.
some of the kids still waiting their turn to go on a motorcylce ride with "Scotty Mac"!!
A picture of cute little Brooke (one of the Grant triplets) they all had so much fun!
that was until they all learned they could only have one turn....
poor Carson was a bit bummed out that his friend Scott would only give him one ride :)
in all I think Scott gave 11 kids rides!
OK 12 if you count Wes! ha ha ha
I think the rest of us had more fun watching Scott and Wes, then we would of if he all gave us rides.
Thanks for the laughs you two!

Happy Birthday to Me!

So lets back up, because I think my birthday was being celebrated all week long.

My Doctors had taken the whole week off work, because it was spring break. So I went home for a few days to spend some time with my family, (even though I just saw them last weekend) I don't think you can ever have too much family time. Well at least I can't! So I went up to Blackfoot Tuesday. I helped my Mom with a project, of tearing down the last of her wall paper and painting it . I like to think I helped, but I think my Mom, still did a lot of it herself (sorry Mom). After that was done she (my Mom) took me shopping! which is what we do best! She (and Dad) bought me three new shirts! (the yellow one that i'm wearing) new shorts, and a cute yellow and blue chicken apron, and they took me out to lunch too! at Wingers! I had so much fun and it goes by so dang fast!

Grandma and Bucca gave me a cute card with some cash. which I promptly went out and spent on shoes! I bought new black ones for work, and new sandals, that I bought to go with my yellow shirt yesterday ( that you can see in the Rocky post below, on the bottom right.) Thanks Grandma and Bucca for getting me what I needed! Love ya!

I did also get a card from Dan and Denise with so money also. I'm still plotting what I need/want. but trust me. It will be spent, and spent wisely! :) Thanks Dan and Denise!

I got home Thursday Evening. Scott had surprised me with tickets to the murder mystery dinner theater, that I had been majorly hinting to, for quite some time. The show was for Friday! it was titled "Death-the Final Frontier - May the Corpse be with you" We had a blast! You get to interact with the characters and when the "death" happens you get to interview them and try to figure out how and who did it. just like real life Clue. Scott had guessed it right, but didn't win anything :( They had catered food in from Costa Vida. So yummy! I love their sweet pork!

And then the big day! Scott had mentioned last night on the way home, that maybe we would spend the day in Salt lake. I thought it weird cause we were pretty much driving home from it now. (Midvale or 7200 South) But I was game for what ever he had planned. Scott had left early to take Rocky to the Groomer and a few other errends. By the time I was done getting beautified for the day, He had made me a cake, (stawberry cake with chocolate frosting. get it chocolate covered strawberry! ha ha ha) and had decided to change the oil in the Mazda.
-THEN-
It was perfect timing, but I didn't know about it. That he was done with the oil change and so was Rocky. We pick up Rocky, drop him off and Scott said lets go straight to Salt Lake.

I decided on Olive Garden for lunch, and in the lobby waiting for me was my family! Scott and my Mom had planned it all out. and neither one of them had lead me to believe that any of this was happening! Mom, Dad, my little brother Nate and his friend Courtney, were there to greet me with hugs, laughter, and really good food!

Mom and Dad had bought down a bus load of people that had paid to go see "Fiddler on the Roof" with them. It was at the Hale Center Theater in Salt Lake. It was an AWESOME show! the show house is "in the round" and the floor moves, and the actors were amazing! And AAHHH! it was a nice day.
So to say that I'm not loved is an understatement. These are just things that we did for my Birthday. Scott also spoiled me with gifts. He gave me a memory card for my phone, now I have over 600 songs on, and that's only a third of the space taken up. He also gave me a blue tooth for my phone. where it is a touch screen, it can be quite dangerous to have that in the car and try to make a call. He also gave me the next three books in the series that I've been wanting to read. "Percy Jackson and the Olympians".

Thank you Scott, Mom, Dad, and everyone else, for making my week, and my 24th Birthday, one I hope to never forget! I love you all!

There they are!

We finally got in to the groomer gal that we have been waiting for! so the top left picture is of Rocky "before" and the rest are of his " after". He is such a good dog and Scott and I love him to death!
I love this bottom left one. It looks like he is laughing at you! ha ha ha!

Rocky, where your eyes?!

Rocky is just too cute to keep to ourselves. We have been trying to grow his hair out since we have gotten him. We want to take him to a local groomer, that we hear does awesome work. And wouldn't you know, that she is booked out about three weeks! So we wait, for the phone call that says the she has an opening, to squeeze us in.

Poor Rocky dog can't see, and at this point, I think he knows he can't see either. poor guy :(

The other night, just asking Rocky, where his eyes were. Just wasn't good enough anymore. So we took one of my hair clips, and put it to "good use"
